Jhand Hanuman Mela, jambughoda sanctury

On last saturday of Shravan Month, we decided to go to Jhand Hanuman, nearly 80 Kms from Vadodara. The temple is in Jambughoda sanctury. We have to walk nearly 13 Kms due to traffic restrictions and very bad road, going from farms and bushes. To attend the mela of Last saturday of Shravan month, Villagers from nearby villages gathered in a huge number. This picture was taken just after Darshan of Shri Hanumanji.  Photo By Jignesh Adhyaru

We visited this place first in Sept. 1993. Sad to see this snap as people have started spoiling it now just like other religious places. We were worrying about the same when we visited it first time. It was surrounded with very thick forest and we took help of local Adivasi to reach there.
